"One Voice"
Dear Emphasys User:
My name is George Perry, and I am the new president of the Emphasys National User Group (ENUG) for 2009 - 2010. Our emphasis for the year is building a supportive and vibrant online community. We have an excellent website in place with advanced features including a threaded message board and the ability to share custom reports, RFPs, and other items. Last year's ENUG president, Becky Chandler did an outstanding job putting an ENUG website in place that is open-source and will continue through the years even as our membership and officers change. Some parts of the site are open to visitors, and some, such as the message board, are only available to paid members.
Membership is open to all Emphasys users. We recently lowered dues from $500 per year to:
- $150 for agencies with < 2,000 combined units
- $250 for agencies with 2,000 and greater units
We come from a highly regulated environment and are more alike than different, regardless of size or geographic location. We also use the same software applications and can learn from each other and help each other in these trying times. I and the rest of the ENUG board look forward to working with you in the coming year.
